Education & Literacy

At Bugyal Foundation, we believe that education is not just a program, but the very foundation of transformation. In the remote, high-altitude villages of the Himalayas where access to schools remains a significant challenge, our team is dedicated to bringing the light of learning to every child's doorstep.

To date, we have positively impacted over 1,700 lives and established a presence in more than 40 villages. We focus on non-formal education and remedial classes to support children who are often forced to stay out of school due to extreme poverty or geographical isolation.

Our educational initiatives include distributing essential resources like books, bags, and stationery, alongside a growing focus on digital literacy. We believe that when one child learns, the entire mountain region rises. This is a long journey, but with collective support, we can ensure that quality education reaches every home in the hills.
